  11. Thank you for your interest in Wall Street Simulator.  We believe that
  12. you will find this product one of the most important training tools
  13. for mastering the markets.  If you are a beginner to the market, you
  14. will experience the realism of trading through a broker.  If you are
  15. an experienced trader, you will be able to experiment with different
  16. trading schemes without placing any of your hard-earned money at risk.

  19. INSTALLATION
  20.  
  21. To install your unregistered version of Wall Street Simulator, follow these
  22. steps:

  24.       1.  Start Microsoft Windows
  25.       2.  From the File Manager, locate "SETUP.EXE".
  26.       3.  Execute "SETUP.EXE" by Double-clicking on it.
  27.  
  28. The following file must be located in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory:

  30.         VBRUN300.DLL
  31.  
  32. This file has NOT been supplied with Wall Street Simulator.  If you do not
  33. have this file, you can download it from the WINSHARE forum - Library 1 - on
  34. CompuServe (Filename is VBRUN3.ZIP).  It is also located in the Windows
  35. forum of America Online (usually under "Top Picks").  If you do not have access
  36. to CompuServe either of these on-line services, you can drop a quick note to
  37. Larax Software at any of the addresses above and a copy of it will be sent to
  38. you.

  41. RUNNING THE PROGRAM
  42.  
  43. The installation process will set up a program group entitled "Wall
  44. Street Simulator".  Icons for the Wall Street Simulator program, help
  45. file, and ReadMe.1st file will be setup.
  46.  
  47. You can also locate the file WALLSTRT.EXE from the File Manager and
  48. double-click it.  Refer to your Windows Manual for additional information
  49. on executing programs.

  51. Once you have started Wall Street Simulator, select CONTENTS from the HELP
  52. menu to view the on-line help file.  Be sure to select QUICK START for an
  53. overview of Wall Street Simulator.

  58. Enjoy the program and please remember, if you like Wall Street
  59. Simulator and plan to use it, please register it.  The registration fee
  60. is $15 (plus $2 S&H).  Registration brings a registered copy of the
  61. Simulator, a printed manual, discounts on future upgrades, discounts on
  62. companion "Wall Street" products, and a semi-annual newsletter comparing
  63. investment results and ideas.

  66. Registration facility (GO SWREG ; Registration ID # 2838).  The registration
  67. fee will be charged directly to your CompuServe account.  Or, you can
  68. register by sending a check or money order to the address above.  In either
  69. case, your registered copy of Wall Street Simulator will be sent to you
  70. immediately.
